Los Angeles, CA - [May 16, 2006] - McMurray Stern, the exclusive Spacesaver Area Contractor for Los Angeles and surrounding metropolitan counties, is proud to announce that they have been awarded the contract to relocate multiple high density storage systems for Fluor Enterprises. The Spacesaver storage systems will be relocated from Fluor's California location, to their new global headquarters in Irving , Texas . Completion is slotted for spring 2006.
Due to Fluor's need to remain fully functional with little to no workforce interruption, the relocation and installation of the mobile systems had to be handled with speed and accuracy. In addition, the relocation of 3,700 linear feet of documents was executed under a tight time schedule. "One of the key features in this Spacesaver mobile system is the passive safety system," says Matt Denburg, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for McMurray Stern. "It immediately stops the system from moving when a person or object is detected in the system, preventing injury".
